We operate the Cospire coworking space based in Lausanne since 2019. At the opening of our venue we had two phone booth and two meeting rooms. Our two phone booth rapidly becomes overbooked and the necessity to provide more acoustic pods became a reality. Two additional market available soundproof phone booth have been added to our space but im many aspects they where not optimal.
We gave birth to the Lakabi phone booth based on the realisation that commercially available solutions where not made for the specific use case of coworking spaces. The ventilation system, the internal elements as well as the overall look where not well designed and we saw the opportunity to improve those features and make our way into the market.
The Lakabi has become our coworking space furniture brand and beside phone booths we design meeting box, tables, benches and shelves.
